We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all patrons of the Green Valley Library into Henderson Libraries. Many of you have used our libraries already, but some of you may not know our approach to libraries, our policies or our service offerings. We are excited about the opportunity to serve more of our residents through the Green Valley Library. We believe that you will find that we have a strong commitment to our values, our mission and our customer service. We hope that you will view these as considerable assets in your quest for reading materials and life long learning opportunities for you and your family.

This webpage has been established to keep all of you up to date as we move the Green Valley Library through the transition from the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (LVCCLD) to Henderson Libraries. Even the simple things such as, “Will my Las Vegas library card work at Henderson Libraries,” are very important to a smooth transition and your peace of mind. The simple answer is YES. In some cases, you may already be in our system if you have used one of our libraries. In some cases you may not be in our system. Not to worry. In a few short minutes, our library team members can have you registered in our system… and no, you don’t even have to give up that old familiar card if you don’t want to.

We are now offering limited services at the Green Valley Library while renovations continue. Hours of operation and directions may be found on our Locations and Hours page.
