Kids Events & Programs
Henderson Libraries offers exciting programs and events for children at all our branches throughout the year. You can register by calling the library's youth services department or online by clicking on the event. Please remember, children 10 years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver.

Green Valley Library
- Babies and Books is a 6-week series introduces early literacy skills through interactive songs, books and rhymes for parents/caregivers and babies ages 0-24 months.
- Bilingual Storytime for preschoolers ages 3-5 years. Learn stories music and movement in English and Spanish followed by a craft.
- Family Night @ Your Library- Drop in with the whole family to the library for books, music and games! The first Wednesday of each month will be Game Night!
- Ready for Reading - Get your preschoolers ready to read with an interactive story time of books, music and movement. This 6 week session is for 4-5 year-olds and their caregiver(s).
- Tots Storytime - Group story time with books, music and movement. This story time is for children ages 2-3 years-old and their caregiver(s).

Paseo Verde Library
- American Girls for ages 8-12 years & American Girls Jr. for ages 5-7 years. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Travel back in time and enjoy crafts, games, dancing and a treat.
- Book Parties for ages 5-7 years. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Fun and games based on your favorite books.
- Storytimes are offered for 3 different age groups: Only Ones (12-24 months) | Toddler Time (2-3 years) | Pre-School Storytime (4-5 years) REGISTRATION REQUIRED. More storytimes that do not require registration are Pajama Storytime (All ages) and Drop-In Storytime (All ages. Passes distributed 30 minutes before event begins.)
- Young Scientist for ages 7-11 years. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
- Zoo-Sational! for ages 5-11 years. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
